You can register a new Domain Name yourself, or you can have 1USA staff assist you. 
We really recommend having a Backup in place... so for the best protection and level of security, I really recommend Option #1 below.
 

Option #1.  Call 1USA at 610-678-2300 (in Reading PA USA) and tell us a little about your business and what you want your website to do.  We can assist in finding a good domain name that would increase the likelihood that your website will be profitable.
 

Option #2.  If you want to do it yourself, we recommend that you WRITE DOWN
 - the URL (www address) of your chosen Registrar
 - your LoginID
 - your Password
and keep these on paper in a safe place.  You WILL need this information in order to renew your domain in a few years.
If you choose option #1, then 1USA can be your Backup person.

Pricing:
Whether a domain is $9.95 per year or $14.95 per year, or if via Network Solutions at $34.99 per year... it really makes no difference because it's a Tax Write-Off anyway.  Domains should be registered where you get the best security and the best Customer Service.

If you are going to do it yourself, 1USA recommends these Domain Registrars:
 - Tucows/ShopCo
 - WildWestDomains (who is the underlying Registrar for GoDaddy and others)
 - Network Solutions

Important:  If you want to register a domain yourself, you will need to CHANGE the DNS Server addresses in the domain registration to point to NS.1USA.Com and NS2.1usa.com
You will also need to notify 1USA staff to add your domain onto our DNS servers... so that your domain will resolve.
