Facebook can provide:

Customer Interaction – Among many other similar services, Facebook pages can provide a forum for dialogue between customers and the brand, giving companies the opportunity to introduce your products or services to new people... particularly the friends of friends.

However when it comes to building better relationships with target audiences and current customers, Your 1USA-hosted Website can do a better job - by adding a Forums Area, Surveys, Questionnaires, and even a Training Course on your website.
The problem with Facebook's implementation is when fake people go bitch about a bad product or service - you cannot remove their comments!!!
On your 1USA-hosted Website, you can limit comments to 'real people' and you can remove the bad comments after a situation has been resolved.
This is a *big* difference.

Reputation Management – Similar to other blogging websites, Facebook allows a company to gain a deeper understanding of how the brand is perceived online – through direct feedback and also by monitoring what users are saying about the brand.
Again, you're probably better off having these comments on your 1USA-hosted website - where the search engines will pickup on the "new content" and rank your website higher -- rather than ranking Facebook higher.

New Customer Acquisition – Each time a Facebook user becomes a fan of a Facebook page, a notice is posted as a news item for all of that user’s friends to see. This creates an opportunity for a Facebook page to go viral and reach new viewers.
So if you do anything on Facebook, try to accumulate Fans.

Feedback Mechanism – Customer feedback is vital if you're in a service-based business.  Facebook allows users to communicate their experiences directly (good or bad) and give the company the opportunity to respond.
Again, this "fresh content" will pay off better if comments are posted in a Forum on your 1USA-hosted website.

Branding – Facebook can be used to create brand awareness in addition to a company’s corporate website. It provides brand exposure to a potentially new audience (friends of your customers) and gives organizations the opportunity to help pass the word about your business.
It's hard to find something that 'everyone' would be interested in... so give away a Dinner-For-Two or a $25 gas card on your main website... and announce it on all of the blogging websites, including Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in, etc.

Remember that the main purpose of these 'satellite' sites is to drive Web Traffic to your main 1USA-hosted Website
As a Facebook page grows its fan base, traffic to the company website will increase - which is where it counts. Facebook pages also appear in Universal Search Results - which could compete against the search engine work that you've done on your main website... however because two listings are better than one listing, go for it.
